BREAKING NEWS:
CHICAGO.
Jim Mullin of JM Couture Inc. and Les Walgreen of Peaux Deaux Productions LLC. are proud to announce "Building an Empire" a reality show about what it takes to build an International Brand, a top selling and touring Musical Act, and a Supermodel all at the same time.
Premise of the show: 200 models in 10 U.S. cities (to be announced soon) will compete to be the face of JM Couture, An International Apparel Company. Jim Mullin’s band “Empire” will also be a major part of the themed stage and runway performance on the show as well as the soundtrack. Funding for the pilot has been procured and shooting (production) starts in Early 2012. The TV show is phase one of a multi million dollar retail marketing plan including very hi tech retail pods and stores throughout the United States.
Jim Mullin is the creative visionary behind the show as well as one of Chicago's most successful fashion show event promoters with over 150 shows to his name. Photographer, Designer and Musician, all of Mr. Mullin's talents will be shown in front and behind the stage.
"My passion for music and fashion breeds followers, and I can’t wait to show the world my full creative potential.” -Jim Mullin
Les Walgreen, an experienced executive producer and retail expert, comes aboard to assist Mr. Mullin in what will be the first show with an entire line of product and music behind it.
"Jim Mullin is the most creative individual I have ever met. His eye for detail, his superior design and amazing musical ability will push him to unlimited heights. I expect him (Jim Mullin, JM Couture, and Empire) to be a household name in the very near future." -Les Walgreen
The reality TV show “Building an Empire” will show the audience what it takes to build a Fashion and Music EMPIRE from the ground up. The show will start with a bio showcase on all cast members. Everyone involved has a major role and is a character in the plot. There will be a behind the scenes look at the planning process for the events, the designs, the fashion shows, the photo shoots, the recording sessions, and the performances. There will also be an inside look at how a company is created and marketed. The viewer will be involved in the process from start to full launch of the product in stores and the band to radio. The 2012 Collection will feature, Denim, Tee Shirts, Dresses, Shoes, Accessories, Shoes, and swimwear.
The show will then start a national model search for the new face of JM Couture and Empire will hit the studio to record a single that will be the music soundtrack for the show. There will be a major casting calls for models that will be filmed.. The “contest” part of the show will start at a huge venue in Chicago like “House of Blues or Chicago Theater” with a JM Couture wrapped very Rock Star empty tour bus in front. From the massive casting call for models, we will narrow it down to 20 models that will compete in a themed shoot with World Famous Photographer David Leslie Anthony and then a runway show. The judges, Jim Mullin, David Leslie Anthony, and one Celebrity judge will pick two models to go on the journey of a lifetime and the bus will load up the band, crew and 2 models and go to the next city where we will do it all again. We will pick up 20 models in 10 cities and they will all live on the bus and in hotel rooms together for 10 weeks as we tour the United States. On the road there will be twists and turns and challenges, 10 models will be eliminated on the road and have to go back home. We will tell them to “hit the road!”
There will be drama between the rival models, the charades of musicians and the
cat fights will be in full swing. It will be a constant party, best friends will be made,
but most of all it will be a fun and inspirational journey for everyone.
In every city that we stop there will be in store appearances at a retailer carrying the 2012 JM Couture collection, for example Macys, to promote the JM Couture Brand. There will be radio appearances in every city to boost the promotion of the band and casting calls. There will be themed photo shoots and exhausting work, day in and day out. At night we will do nightclub appearances and then hit the road. There will be local celebrity appearances in each city that will also be judging the models in the competition.
As we wrap up the tour in New York City there will be 10 models remaining. At this point its up to panel of industry experts to pick the two finalists. Then Jim will pick the winner to be the new Face of JM Couture and the star of Empires music video. The model will be featured on a national print and outdoor campaign as well as a modeling contract with
a well know modeling agency and $100,000.
Building an Empire will show the hard work and dedication it takes to build a brand, a super model, and a successful band all at the same time.
Building an Empire is a combination of all famous reality shows, the modeling and designing drama from shows like Americas Next Top Model, and Project Runway The contest with constant judging like American Idol and Americas Got Talent. The behind the scenes
drama like the Real World and Kardashions, and the behind the scenes work from a show like The Apprentice. We will use the power of the
TV audience to launch a National Brand JM Couture and Band Empire.
